FCE Driver for ROC and Modbus

CTH Systems introduces the FLeXS Communication Engine (FCE) a native driver for FactryLink 7.x. The FCE Driver supports a variety of ROC and Modbus field automation devices. This feature rich product will give you more flexibility to better manage communications between the FactoryLink SCADA host and the wells.

Key Features:

• Multiple protocols over the same radio channel. This advantage saves you from having to set-up new RF infrastructure to support another protocol. ROC and Modbus can now come over the same radio channel.
• Flexible self-contained scheduling. Allows the user to set poll schedules during run-time. Can be used to optimize polling when solar power is used to power the RTU’s.
• Access ROC Historical, Alarm and Event Logs.
• Efficient RBX messaging.
• Extensive RTU Communication Statistics and Messages.
• User defined Poll definitions. This allows you to fully define which tags are in a regular poll or a full poll.
• The ability to control timing on the communications port to properly interface to radio and modem communication equipment.
• Direct Database logging of Hourly and daily contract History Information. This feature is important in that you can securely log files direct to the database and allowing seamless integration into CTH’s historical reporting task (HRP).
• Automatic Database maintenance.
• Allows easy integration with FLeXS HRP (Historical Reporting Task).
• Commands have priority over all previous poll requests.
• Interleave and demand scan capabilities.
• The ability to automatic fail over to a secondary Communications port.
• Read and write from the same tag.
• Supports Modbus Slave allowing the FactoryLink SCADAhost to be polled via other SCADA hosts.
