Tank Strapping(for FactoryLink)allows users to define storage tank strapping information into this FactoryLink task. At run-time a simple linear volume entered into a tag will allow automatic generation of gross volumes. This task uses many different custom algorithms to calculate the gross volumes from band strapping to look-up tables. Custom algorithms are added constantly and will modify for user-particular applications. Use with temperature and density correction factors; and can be used to correct Tank Volumes to Net Volumes.

Benefits:

The Tank PAK task takes a measured height and calculates the volume of the tank based on the strapping tables provided by the tank manufacturer. This allows the software to have accurate storage volumes without using look - up tables. Input and Outputs of the calculation are Factorylink Tags.
